     The University recently launched a car sharing program in coordination with the CUMTD and the Cities of Champaign and Urbana. Students, employees, and community members will be able to become a member in the program and reserve cars when they need to run errands. This will reduce the number of cars on campus and encourage alternatives to cars, including bicycling, walking, and public transportation. http://www.zipcar.com/cu/
