How Can You Make A Difference?
Computers & Office Equipment
| • | Enable power-save mode for computers, printers, copiers, and other appropriate office equipment |
| • | Turn off monitors, printers and other office equipment whenever possible — screen savers DO NOT save energy |
| • | Avoid reprints by using the "print preview" option before printing |
| • | Consolidate and share underused office equipment |
| • | Eliminate non-essential office equipment |
| • | Use recycled paper products |
| • | Reduce waste - reuse one-sided office paper, use double sided print functions when possible, eliminate or use "post it" fax cover sheet, and always recycle |
| • | Check with your departmental IT professional about turning off your computer nightly |
