Sustainable Energy Project - Business Instructional Facility (continued...)

Location
Located at the corner of Sixth Street and Gregory Drive the Business Instructional Facility is in the heart of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. It is within a block of the Main Library, the Schools of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, and the College of Education. The building is located on a major pedestrian route to and from the residence halls on the west side of campus so students are highly exposed to the structure and its benefits.

The building is a model of high-performance building design excellence and sustainable construction for generations of business leaders, engineers, architects, landscape architects and planners as well as a destination for community educators. Interactive touch-screen monitors enhance the educational experience of the facility as a model of sustainable building design.
